Lindsey VanDeweghe is the wife of Vincent Jackson, an American football wide receiver who played for 12 seasons in the National Football League. On February 15, 2021, Jackson was found dead in a room at the Homewood Suites in Brandon, Florida; he was 38 years old.

According to an official police statement posted on Facebook, Jackson checked into the hotel on January 11 and had stayed there ever since. On February 10, Jackson’s family reported him missing, the sheriff’s office reported, and an investigation was launched the next day. On February 12, HSCO located the former NFL star at Homewood Suites, assessed his well-being, and subsequently dropped the missing person’s case.
Looking at Jackson’s official Instagram page, where he had amassed more than 35,000 followers, he appeared to be living a normal life. Fittingly, the last Instagram post from him before he died was in support of the Buccaneers and their journey to victory in Super Bowl LV this past Sunday.
