Rod Stewart was born as the youngest of five children of his parents; Robert Joseph Stewart(father) and Elsie Rebecca Gilbart(mother) at his home during World War II. His father, Robert was a Scottish master builder while his mother Elsie was an English housewife. Being the youngest of 5 children, Rod was loved and cared for throughout more spoiled as he even couldn’t pass his eleven-plus exam at Highgate Primary School. His fourth songbook album, “Thanks for the Memory: The Great American Songbook 4” was released in 2005. In 2009, he released a studio album, “Soulbook”. In 2012, he released his first Christmas album titled “Merry Christmas, Baby”. The same year, his autobiography titled “Rod: The Autobiography” was released. “Time”, his 29th album was released in 2013 which charted no. 1 on several charts.
